With great sadness I have to report that NARS Member Margaret Hill, GW4SUE passed away peacefully this morning, 17th November 2023, with her family around her.
Margaret was a great friend to us here at Newport Amateur Radio Society, as was her husband SK Bob Hill, GW0FJE who passed in 2021. Margaret, together with her husband Bob, joined NARS over 40 years ago after the turn of 1980, both of whom were tremendous supporters of the club. Margaret was always a smiling presence at the many events and activities she helped to organise, her delicious salmon sandwiches a particular highlight.
Margaret will be sadly missed by all of us here at NARS, and we send our sincere condolences to her daughter Carol, and to all of her family.
