NARS AGM was held at their QTH on Thursday 23rd October and was great to see so many members attending. The committee and officers and were elected for the 2025/26 year, together with the appointment of members into additional support roles and responsibilities.
The committee for 2025/26 is as follows:
GW3JVB John – Chairman
GW7RIB Paul – Secretary
GW4OGO Steve – Treasurer
MW7USQ Dan – Vice Chair Person
Additional committee members GW6HRU – Roger, and MW7PBU – Paul
The minutes will be released by Paul in time, but here’s a summary of other roles:
We decided to continue this year with an events sub-committee led by John – GW3JVB, and comprising MW7USQ – Dan, GW6HRU – Roger, GW8CRH – Ian: with 2W0OGY – Chris and MW0RPB – Pete assisting as required.
GW8YNJ and GW8CRH were re-appointed auditors.
MW7PBU was appointed safeguarding officer, and GW8RTV deputy safeguarding officer.
GW4JBQ was appointed QSL manager, and MW7USQ equipment manager. Rather than have a formal contest manager, anything involving contests will now be covered by the events sub-committee. GW0OAJ and GW3NWS will oversee any training. Publicity will be overseen by the events sub-committee, with GW6HRU covering the Facebook page and GW3JVB the website.
Was pleasing to see so many members in attendance, I’m sure we’re in for a busy 2025/26 season.
