Welcome to the homepage of the Newport Amateur Radio Society (NARS)!

Our main station call sign is GW4EZW, we were established in 1975 and our clubhouse is nestled on the West side of the city of Newport. Our club meetings take place every Thursday from 7pm to 9pm, in the top floor room of the community hall at Tabernacle Congregational Chapel in Rhiwderin.

We invite you to explore our website and extend a warm invitation for you to join us during our club nights. Visitors and prospective members are very welcome and are always greeted with enthusiasm!

You are also welcome to join us on our weekly NET’s:

VHF 2m Net – 145.375MHz every Tuesday evening at 8pm

HF 80/40m Net – 3.705±MHz or 7.100±MHz every Sunday morning at 10am
